Welcoming March with Prayer and Purpose

Hello, March!

A fresh month. A clean slate. A new opportunity to embrace life with grace, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose. If February felt like a whirlwind—or if you’re still trying to find your footing in 2024—let me remind you: you have not missed your moment. Every new day is a fresh invitation to realign, refocus, and walk boldly into what’s next.

Before we get caught up in to-do lists, goals, or even the weight of what this month may bring, let’s pause. Let’s take a deep breath and invite God into March. Because no matter how many plans we make, He is the one who orders our steps (Proverbs 16:9).

A Prayer for March: Covering the Month Ahead

Heavenly Father,

As we step into March, we first pause to say thank You. Thank You for breath in our lungs, for new mercies, and for the gift of another day. We do not take this moment lightly. We acknowledge that You are the author of time itself, and we surrender this month to You.

Lord, we ask that You go before us and make the crooked places straight. Clear the paths we cannot see, open doors no man can shut, and close the ones that are not meant for us. Help us to trust that even when we don’t understand the “why,” You are still in control.

For those who feel weary, Lord, be their strength. For those carrying heavy burdens, be their peace. For those seeking direction, be their clarity. Remind us that we are not alone—You walk beside us in every high and low.

Lord, we ask that this month be filled with growth, joy, and divine alignment. Let us not chase after what is not meant for us, but instead be rooted in what You have called us to do. Let our hearts be open to Your voice, our hands open to receive, and our minds open to renewal and transformation.

We pray for wisdom in decision-making, for patience in the waiting, and for discernment to know what is for us and what is simply a distraction. Help us to release any fear that tries to creep in and replace it with boldness.

Father, we declare that this month will be filled with unexpected blessings, favor, and divine connections. We release anxiety and choose peace. We release doubt and choose faith. We release control and choose trust.

And above all, we choose You.
